Earl Holliman - born 1928, American movie actor. He is famous for playing supporting roles in dozens of Hollywood Westerns, winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor (The Rainmaker, 1956). His films include The Trap, Trooper Hook, The Sons of Katie Elder, The Burning Hills, Forbidden Planet, Last Train from Gun Hill and Desperate Mission - 10 x 8 inches (25.5 x 21 cm) large autographed film-still from Gunfight at the OK Coral, signed: "To Alistaire - Gook luck, Earl Holliman 18,8,97". Condition: slight surface creasing, and creasing to top right and bottom right corners. £25

Ian Holm - born 1931, highly-respected British stage and film actor, best known as Bilbo The Lord of the Rings, nominated for Oscar for Best Supporting Actor (Chariots of Fire, 1981) - 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm) autographed photo, signed: "Sincerely, Ian Holm". Desirable 1970s autograph. £18

Bob Hope - 1903-2003, British-born American comedian, actor and author. His family emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1908, and as a boy he earned pocket-money as a busker, leading to appearances in Vaudeville and small roles on Broadway. From 1934 he appeared on the radio, and started appearing in films starting with Going Spanish, then gaining worldwide fame in the "Road To" series of films, including Road to Singapore, Road to Rio, Road to Morocco and The Road to Hong Kong. A man of huge energy, he appeared in numerous stage productions and was hugely popular as a comedian with his beguiling self-depracating humour; he was also the author of fourteen books  - 5 x 7 inches (12.5 x 18 cm) autographed photo, nicely signed in black marker-pen. In later years his major passion was golf - this photo was a favourite of his. £60

Bob Hoskins - 1942-2014; British film actor (The Long Good Friday, Mona Lisa, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). He played Khrushchev in Enemy at the Gates, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Mrs Henderson Presents - 7 x 5 inches (18 x 12.5 cm) autographed photo. Dorothy Hyson - 1914-1996, American actress. She was married to actor Sir Anthony Quayle, and had a notable career on stage, famously playing opposite John Gielgud in Lady Windermere's Fan, and in films, including starring with George Formby in Spare a Copper - 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm) autographed postcard, signed: "All good wishes to you, Dorothy Hyson". Jeremy Irons - born 1948, British actor. He has had a huge career on stage, with many Shakespeare roles, and his debut on Broadway in The Real Thing won him a Tony Award for Best Actor. He fanously played Charles Ryder in the 1981 TV version of Brideshead Revisited and in his films include The Mission, Danny The Champion of the World, Dungeons and Dragons, Nijinsky, The Time Machine and The Man in the Iron Mask. H.B. Irving (Henry Brodribb Irving) - 1870-1919, British actor. He was the eldest son of the legendary actor Sir Henry Irving. As a member of his father's theatre compnay, he played numerous Shakespeare roles, also appearing with George Alexander's Company at the St James's Theatre and for Beerbohm Tree at Her Majesty's Theatre. After his father's death he formed the London Theatre Company, touring Australia before the First World War. His most notable roles were Hamlet, Leontes and Don Juan - 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm) autographed postcard showing him as Matthias in The Bells. The postcard is addressed in Irving's handwriting on the reverse, but not posted. Condition: Crease to top left corner. £12
