Anton Walbrook - 1896-1967, Austrian, later British, actor. He was a matinee idol who emigrated to Britain in 1936, and was a star of British cinema, with roles in Victoria the Great, Sixty Glorious Years and Dangerous Moonlight. Colin Welland - 1933-2015, British actor and writer. Once a teacher, in the 1960s he began working as an actor, soon becoming famous in the BBC TV series Z-Cars, and then going on to appear in a number of films including Villain, Kes, Straw Dogs, Sweeney!, Blue Remembered Hills and Thru the Dark.
